Has anyone ever printed off their own sight tapes for an optimizer lite ultra or any other slider sight? obviously i know there is the computer program that prints them out, but my question is how do you stick it to the sight and what are your methods of waterproofing? Pictures?

I've printed my own using those sheets of address labels you can get in the stationary section of most department stores. You have to play around with the positioning of the print until you get it to where it will be where you need it on the labels but once you get it figured out it works well. After I mount the sight tape on the dial I usually cover the sight tape with scotch tape to give it some protection from dirty fingers and moisture.

Lots of programs out there to print marks off.
As far as applying the marks / tape to the sight. I use standard paper & print off several duplicate tapes. AT some point you'll need one when your not close to print another. I use two sided tape against the sight to adhere the sight tape - then cover it by a standard piece of tape so it's sandwiched / waterproof.

I use Archer's Advantage. I print them on regular paper and then lay it down on clear packing tape fold the tape over so it's waterproof and then trim off the extra. I just use tape to attach it to the sight.

I use the TAP program, you can get a trial copy for free and that will get you started. Sometimes with a new bow it takes a bit to get the correct tape depending on the speed of the bow and weight of the arrow. There are several variables you have to enter on the sight tape program if you choose to do it the hard way, there is a separate way to get them but you have to know the speed of the arrow out of your bow so you need access to a chrono for that method. Either way works.

I print it on to an address label, then cut it out and stack that on the dial. Then I put clear packaging tape over the label, then use a pen knife to cut the packaging tape out around the sight tape. Make sure the packaging tape extends a little bit beyond the sight tape on all sides to seal it in from water. Haven't had any problem with water, and I live in Oregon.

I take paper sometimes use magazine Paper. Take the edge and make a strip. I then Hand write my yard ages in and then put clear tape on both sides. Then tape to my sight. It works real well and it's easy. I haven't had much luck with computer generated programs.

Print the first tape on regular paper, then tape the corners of an Avery label over the image, send back they the printer and you have it. Use an hp laserjet and the tape will be waterproof. The laserjet doesn't use "ink".

What are the quality differences as well as accuracy differences between the different programs? I used Atchers advantage once and with the measurements I'd taken and all the info I was way off from the tape to what I actually sighted in to.

I use Pinwheel's Software for Archers and have had very accurate tapes. I had one issue last year where the printed tape was not matching the calibrated marks from the program. I emailed customer support, and they got back to me within 24 hours with a fix. The more actual data you can get, measurements, speed, etc, the more accurate the tape will be.

Archers Advantage is all I use for tapes. I get the same numbers with AA as I do with Archers Mark on my iphone.
sight in at 30 and 80. Peep to pin distance, peep to arrow distance, arrow weight. let the program calculate arrow speed, don't change it.
