DIY paper tuner?

Probably not significant, but- does it matter how thick or thin the paper is?

I’ve set up a DIY paper tuner using some newspaper thickness blank paper. It tears so easily it can be hard to read.

I suspect the wax paper (as mentioned) might be a better option.

Another vote for just bareshafting, accomplishes the same thing and is actually way more precise.

Get a box and cut a whole on each side. You can staple the paper up. It is simple and when done throw it away.

Bare shaft tune it.

Hey Guys, I realize I’m resurrecting this, but just came across this thread and wanted to throw another idea out there, actually similar to what some others had mentioned here. Super effective and inexpensive. I put together an easy DIY downloadable paper tuner with instructions. Would appreciate your support, even if you’d be willing to simply share it out! More tuning products in work too. If you have any feedback or questions on it feel free to DM me. Thank you in advance!

I did exactly this for years. I mimicked a paper tuner so easily with some carboard, staples, clips, an old arrow and paracord. Took a whopping 10 minutes and $10 I'd guess mostly the roll of paper.
