I‘m wanting to knock Audad off the bucket list, but I don’t even know where to start. Are the NM draws worth it? Wanting to do DIY, but willing to pay a trespass fee if I draw. I know there’s OTC but I’m in Idaho so I want a shot at a more quality Ram. Any tips on Ibex and Oryx would be appreciated too.

Honestly I won't expect to much help on these type of hunts. Yes if you can draw a tag it's feasible for DIY hunt. It's way way more competitive than say a bighorn hunt simply because they issue a bunch more tags, so finding a top end ram is going to take time or a guide. Draw odds for the other species make it look like you'll need plenty of help from Lady luck securing a tag, but you can't win if you don't play.

Texas has some pretty tough draw hunts up in the panhandle
and some DIY in the prime zones, but they are very expensive even for a diy
the Texas Hillcounrty has some & a guided hunt in Mexico are good to

I killed an Auodad in west texas where the Mtn Project films hunts. was awesome, my buddies and I went. the outfit I got the tag from was westtexashunt.com highly recommend him.
