I just drove to Murdoch's here in Colorado and bought what I believe to be the very last of my favorite hat anywhere in the country other than a lucky eBay find some day. (I lost mine a year ago in a big windstorm.) It's a Stetson, but an insanely cheap $30 waxed cotton boonie hat they made for a few years and, to my knowledge, only Murdoch's ever carried. Murdoch's has like 30 locations in the West but since it was discontinued a few years ago, all of them are now out of stock except one location an hour away from me. I had to hunt through the store for an hour to ultimately find it on a mannequin as a decorative item.

I'm not a big fan of hats in the first place and this is one of the few I've ever worn comfortably both generally and while hunting. Really glad to have it again. I would buy 3 more if I could.

But... this last one is mine now. I win.

Edit: Looks like they update their Web site inventory better than other merchants. It's now official. Y'all can suck it.
