Currently 16/20 new posts are ads.

I keep seeing all these posts about the forum changes. I'm not sure how some of you use the forum, but for the last 8 years I have been going into each individual sub forum, reading the thread titles and contributing to the ones I'm interested in.

This. I go to each forum. I don't even know what these guys are complaining about. New post section seems to be the devil. I only used it a couple times and didn't like it. That said user input is good overall and gives the web guys a gauge to make it better.

Classifieds were removed, then brought back; it's all about page views which drive add revenue which pays salaries and hunts. Just how it works.

You will always see the adds when using "what's new" so the fix is to use "new posts" (forum drop down), then "filter" and turn on everything except classifieds.
