Hey guys, headed to Columbus to watch my daugther lift at USAW University Nationals. The event is part of the The Arnold Sports Festival. Checking to see if I can get some intel on a non-chain local restaurant for dinner. Please hit me up with any ideas and thank you in advance!

If you go for pizza, check out Buckeye Pizza and Stromboli near the intersection of Morse and Westerville Rd. As a Wolverine fan, it's probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had, secret ingredient is buckeye tears...

As a head’s up, had Tommy’s Diner for lunch near downtown and it was fantastic. Owner is Greek and they’ve been there for 40 years. Small, classic, diner place and super busy, but food and service are fantastic. 4.7/3000

Th Barn in Gahanna, OH. Just outside Columbus. Food is amazing. A little pricey, but not terrible for what it is. Wasn't sure if you had a budget.

In Granville there is a cafe with unique sandwiches that was on diners drives and it was good. I’ll try to recall the name. Also rays barbecue near Newark.

We had Thurman's on Saturday night, and it was right up our alley. Excellent service, drinks, and the burgers were absolutely outstanding. For the bourbon guys, they had an Elijah Craig barrel strength 133 that was phenomenal.

5 star experience for sure.

It's certainly not fine dining, but they know how to make a monster burger.

Roger that and I experimented with a burger on texas toast with feta cheese and roasted red peppers. It was absolutely delicious.
