Didn’t draw my MT Combo Tag... What are my options now?

Only reason I’m messinng with ID this year is because , well I just do. But tween winter, wolves, And seeing how the harvest structure shifted last year- im not stoked. add in pressure from unlimited deer tags concurrent with elk season- and it’s crowded like everyone talks about. I’d pick up a leftover or an otc tag wherever it’s a shorter drive and hunt my ass off.

May 10th the ID Sawtooth OTC tags go on sale. I got one two years ago. When they go sale you have about 6 minutes to get one before they are all gone. It’s crowded but they do cap the tags so it is somewhat managed. There are a lot of road hunters. So you can get away from people. It’s under management objectives, but there are elk and it’s awesome country.
