Did I ruin this sizing die?

I was just sizing a ton of 223 brass, where we shoot this stuff is on sand. Everything was clean going in but I must have missed inside the case neck on one of them and appears the neck plunger pulled some sand out of the top and it slid out. All of a sudden all my brass is coming out like this. I can see scratches of sorts inside the die and wiped it well with a qtip but they remain. Can it be buffed out or am I best just replacing the die?

Clean it out and give it a try! Use some throw away brass if you are concerned. Never a bad idea to give your brass a wash before sizing

Sorry for the delay, been sizing and prepping 223 brass all day! Happy to report that the polish worked great. I spun a 9mm mop with Flitz on it for about 5 minutes and sized some throw away brass and the gouges were definitely better but still there so I switched to a 10mm mop and spun it as fast as the drill would go for another 5 and that die changed colors and was so shiny it looked like platinum inside. :ROFLMAO:
I was worried it may have took off too much but test sized a bunch of stuff and they slid into my 223 gauge fine and measured the same as previously sized cases.

Appreciate the tips y'all, this reloading forum and crew is awesome. I've been trying to keep the stupid newbie questions down as much as I can.
