That lit them up like a Christmas tree. The picture looks “fine”
But isn’t going to tell us or you if the fibers have a break in them before they get to the tip of the pin.
You need a dark room and a way to only shine a small light into the area of the sight you took a picture of.
Then, making sure light isn’t spilling out into any other exposed fibers closer to the pin, look and see if the pins are lit or not.
You will be able to see if you have broken fibers pretty quickly this way.
.010....same as my black gold. The size is good when the fibers have direct light. Of not it just looks like a black single vertical pinWhat size pins did you go with?
They can be pretty dang small
YepTechnically it's your fix for the 59 dollar light LOL, I jest, I def agree the .010 pins are way to dim in bright target situations, especially if the sight is in shade. I had them swap out my pins, I did a 019 top, 015 middle and the 010 on the bottom. Seems to have fixed the problem for me, although the 019 may be overkill, probably 015 top and middle would be fine.
Do you happen to have a link to the light you used? I may want to do that to my second bow. Is it just the mini01 keychain light?
