Can someone with experience with these pruf movers 3VA, tell me if the fiber tails look correct to you? The pins are dark unless the top window is in direct sunlight.

The picture looks “fine”
But isn’t going to tell us or you if the fibers have a break in them before they get to the tip of the pin.

You need a dark room and a way to only shine a small light into the area of the sight you took a picture of.

Then, making sure light isn’t spilling out into any other exposed fibers closer to the pin, look and see if the pins are lit or not.

You will be able to see if you have broken fibers pretty quickly this way.

That lit them up like a Christmas tree.
I guess I know why they sell the light for the top.

I had that problem a couple of weeks ago. I have the sight light which made it easier to diagnose. But like already mentioned, you can get in a dark room and shine a light over the top and see. If one is in fact broken, they will replace without question. Their customer service is top notch!!

What size pins did you go with?
They can be pretty dang small
.010....same as my black gold. The size is good when the fibers have direct light. Of not it just looks like a black single vertical pin

Update
They sent me a new scope that is brighter but not great in my opinion. Customer service was top notch.
There light is good in dark conditions. But not bright enough for daytime. So I popped there light out and added my own. Now it works perfectly. Sucks that they dont have a better light for the cost invested.

My fix for the $660 sight
