Hi MooreAK,

It doesn't look like you ever received much response on this. Hopefully your hunt was a success.

My 20 year old son drew this tag as well for 2025. We are putting together a hasty plan, as we were delayed due to a shoulder surgery.

Anyhow if you had any input that you wanted to share then we'd be extremely grateful?

I have no firsthand hunting experience in that unit, however we did hike the Harding Icefields trail (in Kenai Fjords) with the kids a couple weeks ago. There were about a dozen goats hanging around 2500 ft. Park Rangers said the snow had just melted in that area recently so the goats were on the fresh grass. That area is just inside the Nat'l park (no hunting) adjacent to your tag area. Best of luck.
