What is the one and done dehydrator? I see great reviews of the Nesco and my cousin told me to make sure I get one with a humidistat cutout. What are your thoughts?

I have a 9 tray Excalibur and like it. It is one of their older versions that didn't have a built in timer, so I use one of those timers that you plug in to turn your lights in your house on and off while you are gone on vacation.

Nesco Snackmaster Pro here, works great. Max temp is a little low (160), but other than that it works great. Only thing I wish it had was a timer, but can be achieved with an outlet timer. Only made elk jerky in it so far.

I'm going to have to go with the Excalibur 9 tray also. In still using one that has been in the family for 20 years. It is the best one I have ever used but they are pricey.

I have a similar one, cabelas commercial version. It works great. I only do jerky in it, so not sure about how well it works doing other things, but it makes great jerky.

I have the Sportsman's Warehouse brand that looks like the Nesco. I have put a lot of fruit through it. The digital time and temperature settings are nice.
