Bit of help on a funnel tube …

I have never used a tube from funnel to brass to pour powder into the case. I could go to the hardware and get a tube, but I would like to know if there are ways that worked well for you and ways that did not. No need to invent the wheel again.

The only reason for a drop tube is if you have more powder than will fit in a case with just the funnel. Meaning if you drop slow into the funnel with a drop tube it somehow is magic (has to be right haha) and allows you to fit more powder in the case than just with a funnel. I've used it on a 30BR and a 6 dasher when I tried running h4350 but otherwise very little reason to run a tube.

The name of the game is you want case fill, so only use a drop tube when you don't have enough case for the powder you are attempting to use.

I mucked around with one for a while but got sick of spilling powder and bugerizing around.
It was better in the long run to just change powders

If you're at capacity use an electric toothbrush, it works very well.

the area 419 funnel and drop tube set is all I use for powder drops.. Different size funnel end for a different calibers. Never had an issue with spillage. I will tap the bottom of the case on the table before removing the funnel so everythign settles into the case
