has anyone handled one of these or built off of them?
would like to see some builds and possibly hear some comparisons with the origin action

Alex Wheeler built me a 300 prc on one.

I like it very much, I have never had an origin but I had a tl3 and did not care for it. Wanted to bind, had lots of cock on close. The defiance is smooth as glass, and doesn’t hang up near as bad, though still worse than a terminus.

Only negative of the tenacity is if you want a low low scope make sure to tell them, they now have a bolt handle that is turned further down as the handle is straight the full size handle will contact the scope eyepiece on a super low scope. They sent me handle free, good people.

Here is a pic of the new handle also

Thank you, I agree :)

That’s a 21” rock creek #4

It barely contacted my razor lht eyepiece with the factory handle and 0.79 extra low arc m10 rings. These are the lowest picatinny rings I’ve ever found, and are what I’ll be trying as soon as my next lht comes in. I expect it to be fine now with the turned handle but I can’t guarantee it until I see it. It did not hit until it got toward the back of the bolt throw and the bolt could waggle more. I started using 50mm scopes so it wasn’t a problem anymore as they needed higher rings anyway for objective clearance.

If i remember right you were looking into lighter weight factory rifles in another post.
Putting together your own rifle is a great option but be prepared to spend about $2500
I built my 30 Nos on a Defiance Anti action, I can't tell you how much I love it.
The Anti weighs 10 oz less than the tenacity and is only $100 more
What cartridge are you wanting to go with?

6.5 prc or creedmoor... and so the barreled action i talked to Alamo precision about costs 1600 that is with the tenacity and a fluted cut rifled barrel.... ill see how the anti changes that price and may go with it

Here's a SA Tenacity in 6CM. Has the lengthier ejection port. Receiver and bolt have a salt nitride treatment. Finished barreled action (Bart 3B) was around $1,500 + Cerakote, muzzle thread, nitride. Action function is perfect, super slick, aligns and feeds ideal... No remorse.
