Thinking about placing an order on a second defiance anti action. Wondering if there is anyone that has hands on experience with an ANTI? I would hate to have 2 of them if they aren't that great.
thanks, mark

I talked to a builder the other day that said they are a solid action. Definitely worth the money and then some.

I'm curious about these actions as well. I was thinking of grabbing one of these for a 300 wm with a Bartlein CF wrapped barrel. With the intent of turning it into a long range mountain rifle for elk hunting.

I have always heard great things about Defiance, but then again I have also heard great things about Surgeon and Big Horn actions as well. I have a Big Horn action on a 6mm Creed and absolutely love the mechanical extractor of it.

Defiance has a guarentee, if your not happy, they will swap out your action or refund you- I would not hesitate to order from them.

I have a LA on order with them- hope to have it in the next 30-60 days. Where in WI are you located?

What do you think your finally rifle weight will be (without scope or ammo). I've contemplated the same action you mentioned but am having trouble getting my rifle weight down in the 5 to 5.5 lb range

Am I correct in thinking that all you need with one of these actions would be a krg bravo chassis, a barrel, and a trigger?

I am aiming for a light lr build, a little different than your goal. Hoping to be just over 6lb

I am aiming for 5.75 lbs and it will be close. SA anTi action, Proof stock. Proof sendero 24” barrel. Hawkins rings and bottom metal. Timney trigger.

You are correct. Any chassis or stock with bottom metal. You‘d also need to purchase magazines.

That said, the design purpose of this action is to be super lightweight, which a bravo chassis negates. If weight isnt a concern I’d look at the tenacity action instead.

If you’re looking for a 5# rifle I’d just get a kimber because you probably won’t shoot a 5# gun well anyway.

I'd love a 5lb 300wm.
By the time I add a reliable scope, bipod, sling, ammo and suppressor I'd be lucky to be 9lbs.
