Dedicated heavy use AR can?

Okay so I shot my Spiro quite a bit. I shot it next to my Omega 300 and my friends Sandman X. This was on a 12.5” SBR. The Sprio is way quieter than the Omega and has way less back pressure. Recoil reduction is really amazing. The Sandman X was equally impressive. I’d say they both were nearly exactly the same from what the two of us could tell. Ejection was exactly the same on both and neither of us noticed any gas blowback in the face. Both the Spiro and the Sandman X are impressive.

Was the weight noticeable on the 12.5 or not too bad?

Well, considering my old Surefire suppressor and brake that I ran for 15 years weighed 23oz, the Spiro feels amazing.IMG_5101.jpeg

I would look at an OCL polonium. They have a 6mm and a 30 cal model. Or something from the LPM anthem line-up. No experience with LPM but the OCL polonium with an adjustable gas block is very pleasant to shoot, and economical to boot.
I would not recommend a Polonium 30 for an AR. Great can but it is a gassy SOB on an AR.

Haven’t tried it yet but got a new 16” 6arc upper this past weekend. I wanted to throw a suppressor on - turns out this OG fits perfectly. The upper has an adjustable gas block so I’m going to tune it no problem.

@Formidilosus I assume you’d approve. At least until I can figure out if the OCM6 would be a better option

@Ajsomp that turned out beautifully!

This is on a 18" rifle gas 5.56 barrel, I had to switch the superlative arms gas block from vent to constrict mode to get the OG 6.5 to fit, but very happy with how it functions. Tuned it to 3:30 ejection at 35*.

I’ve been shooting the SBR with the Spiro quite a bit this week doing load workup with the 77 TMK. The his suppressor is super quiet and really cuts down recoil. Got my best groups with the 77 TMK at 2520fps. Not bad from a 12.5” barrel.

Has anyone messed with hand guards that are a little bigger to allow the suppressor to go underneath them or is that a bad idea?

Anyone used or seen the new Rugged Axial? Reduced blow back claim valid for ARs? Not really too worried about DB level..I usually run my Radiant in k config on my ARs anyways. Looking for dedicated AR can for my pig gun..6.8spc.

Look at the Sandman X. It’s pretty darn quiet and has very little back pressure being a flow-through. My buddy has one and we shot the X and the TBAC Spiro side by side. The X is impressive, but just a little louder than the Spiro.

It might be a little hard to see in the picture but that rifle was six different colours of FDE and very abused from years of use. This weekend I decided I would change it up a little bit and redo all the Cerakote.

Some pretty badass setups in here! Does the OG30 produce enough back pressure that an adjustable gas block is needed on standard 16-18" lengths and gas systems, or is it case dependent and won't know til you try?
