Have you seen this thread? Off memory, that NSI reamer should be wheeler'ish or exact body specs, 180 thou freebore.

Now that the first barrel preorder has arrived and our FFL is arriving soon, I am thinking about the next big project. (I am the idea guy and my partner is the production guy, so don’t worry about getting barrels that are already here.)

I have been talking with @NSI about the perfect 6 PRC in a short action. I started running the 7SS as my hunting rifle, then stepped down to the 25SST, and now the 6 PRC is the next evolution for me in smaller effective short mag caliber. I still love my 7 and 25 though.

For the 6 PRC, we have come up with the proven reamer specs that make it...

I don’t know what’s up with @hereinaz but I have called, emailed, pmd and tagged him and haven’t gotten any response and I see he has been active yesterday and today. I. Hoping he’s just busy catching up after the weekend of the meet inAZ. Either way I don’t think the reamer is wheelerd cuz I’m getting clickers on 1x fired brass with very low pressure loads using adg brass. I’m really hoping someone has a aw2 reamer for this as this isn’t gonna work if I can’t reload. My brass measures .533 at the absolute most, while most is .5325 on fired. I thought the wheeler reamer was .535 at the .200? I’m only sizing .001-.0015 down from a fired round. Not really sure what to do at this point or the best route to move forward. I’ve fire formed 100 brass and barrel life on these isn’t obviously the greatest so not wanting to shoot a bunch u til I figure out the best solution. I would be cautious with this reamer spec but maybe mine is a one off. I bought it through the group buy.
I will say I love the cartridge and I’ll likely always have one on hand. If it gets to the point where this can’t be resolved I’ll order a reamer to my spec cuz these big sixes are awsome. Hoping to hear back from @hereinaz before to long but for now I’m kinda at a stand still.

Guessing he’s busy. He was sick and I imagine he’s been backlogged. Will give him a few days to get back the swing and caught up. He’s always been very responsive on here so I’m sure he has reason.

yes he will get caught up and back to you eventually. He's normally pretty responsive but he did get backlogged on correspondence when he was sick recently and he's also got a "real" job and a family to keep track of.

He has been semi-responsive to me through text. I recieved my barrel order, but still waiting on a barreled action for my dad. He text me back last week and said it was shipping this week. Im hoping to hear from him soon.

I had to make a change to my barrel before shipping and text or the [email protected] email address worked the best for me. He is definitely very busy, so I wouldn't expect quick responses. I'll PM you his cell.

I just spent a day and half shooting with him at the AZ meetup. He’s fine now but got way underwater with correspondence when he was sick for an extended period, twice.
