Couldn’t be a better thread actually. Take it or leave it. If the only lesson to be learned is that one gets what they pay for then it definitely applies to barrels….I learned the hard way and it cost me…could have cost me with my life.

The L is the Tikka magnum magazine?

Belted mags down to 270
Sort of a catch all
The wsm mags feed saums better but you are length constricted this may be due the the position of the shoulder stops
The Ls work fine and hold 3 down in the mag I e not had a failure to feed or double feed yet so knock on wood

You could also try an AICS set up and a hunter style aics magazine. I ordered the red snake tactical to play around with I’ll report back when it gets here.

Put it in the classifieds then…That’s what everyone else does. UM wasn’t doing Tikka actions when I put my customs together or I may have gone to them. Not trying to put a wrinkle in your business plan. But a top quality custom barrel can be had and installed for 1K that is with the old barrel removed and the new barrel fitted to the action.

I think you have a typo… you meant TWO barrels for less than $1k

You might get more responses in the 6 NSI thread linked below. My understanding was the reamer spec is the same as the AW2 6.5 PRC reamer with only a two dimensional changes to neck diameter for the 6mm bore and freebore length for the 6mm bullets, so a 6.5 PRC headspace gauge would be accurate.

You are correct, sage… @Gila this isn’t the right thread to bitch about life and scream at the moon. Start your own thread about the merits of prefits. You are off topic crapping in my thread, and don’t get pissy I am calling you out for being a Debbi Downer. This thread is perfectly acceptable for me, I paid for the opportunity and all of us were getting along. And, by doing it I am able to save these guys money for their hobby and fun.

BUT, since you are here, I will let you say your piece and pleasantly leave the conversation. It is a good warning to check head space and that we take our lives into our hands with explosions inches from our face.

And, I am sorry your prefit experience sucks rocks. If anyone gets a bad prefit from me I will make it right.

If you buy one from me, I will shoot it and guarantee it is a one minute barrel. Maybe I can restore your sense of humanity stolen by the prior prefit thieves.

As to the facts, your review is worth what we paid for it… there are literally hundreds and thousands of these barrels out there and testimonials that they shoot. Here is a five shot group with my .223 and factory ammo. @Bluumoon shot one group after I sent him a new barrel, cause the first one sucked rocks. It happens. No one is perfect. See how I can sell prefits and still be a good person. The cardboard shows three different groups from three different barrels, all I did was screw one off and screw the new one on and shot, first rounds out of the new barrels. And another backer with a 30 round shot group I put the tape measure to. I have the targets to prove 30 rounds went through if you need them.
