December $487 prefit group buy, several barrels are a go

I am the odd ball since they don't make a prefit for:

Winchester 70 threaded 5/8 x 24.
SPECIFICATIONS
Cartridge .270 Win
Throat SAMMI
Length 22
Twist 7

Just ordered 6UM 30. Have a Tikka 300 win mag gathering dust. Would that work as a donor action for the 6UM? Thinking about jumping on the Rokstok train. What barrel channel should I order? Sorry about all the questions, but I don’t know what I don’t know. Pretty new stuff to me.

I am somewhat interested in a 6 mag.

Can anyone explain the differences between the 6um and 6 prc (nsi)? I understand the parent cases are 7 saum and 6.5 prc, respectively. Is that accurate?

Case capacity?
Brass availability?
Dies available?

Why choose one over the other? Any insight would be much appreciated.
@NSI and I chose 6 PRC as the easy choice for brass availability long term and availability of bushing dies for an easy one step forming.

I’m in for 22gt.
2 now in for 22 GT?

I can do one offs, and give you a discount off Preferred’s price if you want. But the control round feed need gunsmithing.

Are these lapped before chamber or sans to save money? My first PBB prefit from the 6cm group buy, is a bit rough(un-lapped).

$487 for a Tikka Hybrid Lite contour threaded 5/8 x 24.
SPECIFICATIONS
Cartridge: 22 arc
Throat: .131” FB saami
Length 18" or 20"
Twist: 7 219 bore barrels

These are unlapped, the masses didn’t add it in…

I have got good results on paper and steel about the same whether lapped or not. I don’t clean frequently, and let barrels do their thing.

I also pull the barrel to clean with a cordless drill... So it’s easy for me and indistinguishable to me.

If someone want a lapped barrel, I can do one offs for a Preferred Barrel and give discounts they don’t. I can’t give the huge discount though.

The 6 UM 40 is for when you thought you drew a really good elk tag. You pass up some 200 yard chip shots on bulls way bigger than you've ever shot thinking you'll see bulls every day. And you'll find bigger. But you don't. Then you go a few days of not seeing a single elk and you get a chance at a mid tier 200" bull at 905. And want to dump him in his tracks. That was my use case for it this year. One shot behind the shoulder and he was dead.
My buddy came in with horses the next day and was amazed I killed him with a single shot. Let alone the 6mm from so far. They use magnums and heavy bullets. Usually takes them three shots.

Brass availability and dies is good. Fire forming really isn't that bad. It was a lot of fun. Though there is a little more cost to get started on a UM.

The 6 UM will do 3150'ish-3300 fps depending on barrel length and lot of n570 With a 115 grainer.

Barrel life is about 700 rounds. Which could last years of hunting with a trainer rifle.

It's probably overkill for most things. Honestly my 22 creed will do 90% of what I need. But the extra speed and wind resistance is nice.
