@NSI and I chose 6 PRC as the easy choice for brass availability long term and availability of bushing dies for an easy one step forming.I am somewhat interested in a 6 mag.
Can anyone explain the differences between the 6um and 6 prc (nsi)? I understand the parent cases are 7 saum and 6.5 prc, respectively. Is that accurate?
Case capacity?
Brass availability?
Dies available?
Why choose one over the other? Any insight would be much appreciated.
2 now in for 22 GT?I’m in for 22gt.
I can do one offs, and give you a discount off Preferred’s price if you want. But the control round feed need gunsmithing.I am the odd ball since they don't make a prefit for:
Winchester 70 threaded 5/8 x 24.
SPECIFICATIONS
Cartridge .270 Win
Throat SAMMI
Length 22
Twist 7
These are unlapped, the masses didn’t add it in…Are these lapped before chamber or sans to save money? My first PBB prefit from the 6cm group buy, is a bit rough(un-lapped).
I would be in for 20" 6 creed____________________________________________________
$487 for a Tikka Hybrid Lite contour threaded 5/8 x 24.
SPECIFICATIONS
Cartridge 6 Creed
Throat SAAMI
Length 20
Twist 7.5

Yes -- and yes.6um and 6 PRC are both magnum bolt face correct? If I'm looking for a barrel to go with a standard bolt is 6 creed or 243 the way to go?
6mm standard boltface 243, 6mm GT, and 6mm Creedmoor are all good choices. For Heavy bullets in factory ammo, the 6mm Creedmoor is widely available. 6mm GT has 1 heavy (109 ELDM) factory offering. 243 has nothing over 100 grains unless you order it from a boutique ammo manufacturer.6um and 6 PRC are both magnum bolt face correct? As in the easy button or fastest? 6-284 would push faster in a standard bolt face in a tikka action (make sure you can get some 6.5-284 brass first). 6cm and 243 are easy buttons.6um and 6 PRC are both magnum bolt face correct? Certainly best brass. ADI brass is decent as an option for ammo that’s half the cost.Lapua 69 g scenars or Berger 77 otm

Correct. I would take 2 to make it happen.2 now in for 22 GT?
You could also do 6mm/'06. Easy to find both 30-06 cases cheap. Easy to neck down 25-06 ammo. If you do the Ackley Improved version you have a super hot rod with easily found brass. As in the easy button or fastest? 6-284 would push faster in a standard bolt face in a tikka action (make sure you can get some 6.5-284 brass first). 6cm and 243 are easy buttons.
