Dealing with insects while shooting.

".....dryer sheets, thermalcells, bathing....."

I like how you slipped that in there like we wouldn't notice as if you expect us to believe you have improved your personal hygiene.

As for the shorts, I'll have to explain to my wife that I discovered the truth and I didn't actually see the aurora borealis the other evening as I looked toward Shenandoah.

Nice hat by the way.

This is something I have been waiting to try. I'm all the time shooting in a situation where the gnats and mosquitoes can be terrible. I have tried all kinds of things over the years, spray, dryer sheets, thermalcells, bathing, and permethrine.

I saw this about 6 months ago, ordered one, but it's only been the past few weeks that it has warmed up and the bugs have been out and I could really put it through the paces. It really has been a game changer for me, no longer am I distracted by the buzzing, just focus on the X, and execute my shot.

Enter, the dingle hat.

These are limited, mainly being only imported from downunder, but those guys really did figure some things out, there in the outback and all. I was shooting with an Aussie late last summer and he turned me onto them.

As long as the shorts come with it I want one!

only thing youll catch hunting in those pants is a mosquito disease, lol. i live in Australia i use a few drops of clove oil in coconut oil(20 drops 200ml coconut) keeps leeches, ticks, mozzies, sand flies and drop bears away!
