These are just the females from March and April.

It’s been a weird spring. While I’ve seen many “runs” of all males or all females, it almost always averages out to 50/50 in short order.

Not so this spring. Very heavy on females.

That is a LOT of pup makers. Is that all from one area? Is that enough to dent the population for a year or two?

For the dynamics here, its enough to have a noticeable reduction in the population........for 6-8 months or so. Haha

If I were to hang it all up and just go fishing and bowhunting for the rest of the year, by December it would likely be like I was never here. Certainly by this time next year. All else equal.

First post here after lurking for a long time. Called in my first coyote last month. 186 yards with Hornady Superperformance Varmint 53gr Vmax. Dropped right where it stood. Big fan of this bullet.

Really got the itch to build a 22 creed bolt gun now.

Build it, you won’t be disappointed. Especially if you hand load. Can push 4-500 fps harder than factory ammo pretty easy.

Went with a buddy and ended up with 3 hogs, 3 foxes, and 3 raccoons. Couldn’t get the coyotes to cooperate.

Both shooting 7-08’s. One Tikka with 120gr sst, one ar10 with 150gr tgk.

She showed up 2 minutes after I finished my 20 minute set. 15 more seconds of table scraps and she came to 20 yards of the e-call. 73 eldm did the job

Stoked to post a reply to this. Lots of life stuff has happened since I killed this lion. Lots of back and forth on if I could get the taxidermy done on it.

Picked it up yesterday. Imperial Taxidermy out of Santa Fe did an amazing job. I can't stop staring at it while replaying the hunt and my entire journey of trying to kill a lion without hounds.

Did this one a favor a few weeks back. Bad mange.

77 TMK wrecked this fox from 330 yards. Did a back flip and he was done.

80 gr ELDM. 22 CM isn’t my ideal choice but all I had for this rattler 😂IMG_8159.jpeg

Just a few of my favorites from when contest hunting was a thing and before my kids got older and now keep me busy on my days off. We used to chase them religiously, daylight only, public land.IMG_4011.jpeg
