While hiking into a new deer spot with a buddy we heard some wild dogs howling. Got ready and managed to put a few down, should have been more but still very glad to take 3 out of the pack. Didn’t see a single deer in 3 days, we believe the pack of wild dogs may have had something to do with it. IMG_0286.jpeg

I sat down & called w an antique wooden call given to me by my 94 year old neighbor. Under one minute I had four coyotes come in on a string. Two in front saw me & quickly redirected to bail out & as I watched & waited for her to stop two others came from behind & circled around me @ less than 20 yards. This young gal stopped @ 200 ish yds & gave me a perfect shot! This stand lasted a total of about 2 minutes!

Had time to make 4 stands this morning before I had to go pick up the groceries the wife ordered.
On the 4th stand a double came around the point to the pond that was in front of me to my left.
The lead coyote circled the ice on the shoreline while the other decided to cut across the ice.
I was able to get the lead coyote but kissed the second.
