Looking to build a set up for whitetail in Ohio. Pretty set on first lite for price, quality, and research i've done. I hunt out a tree stand 99% of the time. I hunt until I'm tagged out. I am leaning towards the fusion since it has some green in it and early season there is plenty of green still about. Just curious what is the preferred pattern for midwestern guys.

Thanks in advance!

My favorite is the Fusion pattern. I've had deer within feet of me and didn't spook until they got down wind. I think it will be a good pattern for turkey hunting as well.

Personally I prefer fusion but that said I’ve had turkeys and whitetail deer within 10 yards of me in a t-shirt and blue jeans. I’m sold camo is for human eyes only. Wind and movement are more important.

I like fusion just because the way it looks but I think by the time November roles around that Cypher 'matches' the woods by me more.

Cypher for me. As stated above, once November rolls around, I believe it blends better. But truly, it doesn’t matter. Pick the one you like

I have found the Fusion seems to transfer better to all of First Lites fabrics for some reason. I purchased a Chamberlin in Cipher and it was really “yellow” and lacked contrast to break up outline well. I hunt the northeast and I think I have settled on Fusion as my go to.
