Hi All,

Long time lurker, first time poster. Thank in advance for all info!

Looking for input on a pant that would roughly cover approximately 32F-45F. Would be used predominantly for tree stand, pop up blind hunting but some minor active time periods. Minnesota October-November.

Right now I typically run Stone Glacier DeHavilland pants for most hunting throughout the year. (Absolutely love them, by the way). Also I have the Fanatic set for when the temps really plummet. I'm trying to find a pant that bridges that gap a little better, I've layered up the Havilland but it's just too cold for someone that tends to get cold easily.

I've thought the Stratus would be a good option due to the wind stopper, but was curious if there were any other options out there. I've come across Kuiu Encounter and Proximity lately, and those seem appealing as well. Open to all input!

TLDR- Hunting pants that are a step below the Fanatic for warmth.

I have the Stratus and it is only good for breaking the wind, not much insulation. I will typically wear the Sitka Midi pant underneath the Stratus for warmth but I don't know if they still make the Midi. I also have First Lite 308 lined which is somewhat warm and the King's Camo Lone Peak Pant, again somewhat warm. The 308 is quieter than the Lone Peak. The lined 308 would probably work good under the Stratus. I have no experience with the Kuiu whitetail stuff.
