Theres a pretty extensive thread on long range hunting about hammer bullets.I’d like to hear more about the fragmenting mono options out there. Lots of people saying they use them, but not many pictures of results.

Were those issues with the Hunter line? The hammers have lots of good reviews but the two people I know and trust have had very mixed reviews. Some have worked fantastic some just penciled through kinda like the old blue Barnes X bullet.
Outside of a few videos, the Lazers just don't have much press.
I will find out. Were those issues with the Hunter line?
Would like to hear the details of hammer failures if you don’t mind. They would be the first I’ve heard of...probably because they’re relatively new and less used than others that we hear about failure on. With the 125 lazer in 6.5 I used barnes lrx data to start with. The lazer could take more powder before pressuring out than the lrx.Tagging in. When I find some time I’ll be doing load dev for 145 lazers in a 7 SAUM. Also interested in any input on load dev lessons learned with the lazers.
They were both the hunter line. One of the guys used them this past year and said they worked great on the elk they shot. Totally different wound channel than the previous elk. Were those issues with the Hunter line?
