Cut out Sitka facemask?

I have a Sitka Core Lightweight Hoody which I like, except for the damn facemask… anyone ever cut that stupid thing out? I’m assuming the easiest way is just to grab some sharp scissors and carefully cut it out…

Frankly, I never wear my mask and I forget it's there. Just put it behind your head and forget about it. But yes, scissors would be the recommended tool.

Its one of the best things about the hoodies. When it gets cold i use it all the time dont even notice it when im not using it

Yes I cut mine out. Just with scissors

I just put it behind my head when I don’t need it but I’m sure you can just cut it out without issues.

I cut it out. I find it pointless - I bring a gaiter if I want it. It make more sense than paying to have one sewn one onto every piece. I wish they got rid of it.

This is what I do. You’ll forget it’s even there.

I remember it's there every time I put the hoody on...seems like that dang facemask gets caught and twisted up on my oversized dome and fat neck...and I'm a gaiter guy too so I find the facemask redundant.
