Custom wood stove ideas

We're looking to replace our current 30 gal oil drum turned wood stove for the wall tent into something more durable. Been thinking about possibly using a 30lb lp tank. Looking for durable, fairly light and compact to take up as little space as possible in the wall tent. What is your setup?

I can't help you. I have a couple of army surplus "wheeling" stoves (korean war vintage). They came with coal grates and all three parts nest for easy packing.

We just use the appropriate size stove from Davis Tent. They work great! Just make sure your stove pipe is high enough

My Cylinder stove is going on 25-30 years….good units.
