Newest build is a 6 PRC. I did this one on a Chassis so I could shorten it for when my daughter starts hunting.

Custom Action design by my gunsmith and machined my Defiance
Brux #5 1-8 twist finished at 23.5”
Bedded into some cheap MDT chassis I picked out
Bix N Andy trigger
Trijicon Tenmile 5-25X50 FFP

Good one. She better start in 6 months before this one gets replaced :ROFLMAO:
Hahaha isn’t that the truth 🤣🤣

Yes it’s the MOA one. I just switched back to MOA since all my buddy’s still shoot it and it doesn’t make any difference to me honestly.

Yeah sure! So the main action he designed was the long action Lapua. Bigger tenon, bigger lugs, longer COAL, full length rail with a tapered front lug for mounting shorter scopes and the rail is machined out in the center to lighten it, a few other lightening points and a different bolt handle. 1/2 the fluting the depth on the bolt as the Anti-X so it runs smoother.

This SA has the same features, but is internally identical to the Ruckus I believe. He just wanted the actions to match.

I have a short action Vesper as well, and running them side by side is night and day with feeding and bolt cocking. Vesper is going down the road.

Oh cool!! I really like that area. He’s only an hour away from me, so it’s pretty dang convenient!
Never knew of him else I might have used him back when I lived there. I left that state behind now though and glad about it.

First off, that is an impressive collection of rifles in a short time and it looks like you put them to use on some great animals!
Secondly, what the heck do you do for a living?
And how do you get that many hunting opportunities in one year? I’m envious on just that alone. The rifles are awesome but the quality of animals is just plain amazing.

Almost all of the animals are just from general draw tags or genuine OTC tags. Just rotate through states wherever I can get a tag pretty much haha.
