Going guardless is strange for me, but I kind of like it.
Guard less is the way to go for competent knife handlers.Ground out a couple of the Grohmann #3 inspired knives. I'm excited to see how they turn out. Going guardless is strange for me, but I kind of like it.

Well done. So far I cant sell a Canadian belt knife in Australia. I think most people aren't familiar with the style, so just stick to what looks "normal" to them.
I know the feeling! It’s hard to explain why it’s unique. More knives are sold on looks than utility.Well done. So far I cant sell a Canadian belt knife in Australia. I think most people aren't familiar with the style, so just stick to what looks "normal" to them.
I had some on my table at the Melbourne knife show last year and was explaining the advantages to a guy. He just said they looked "fugly" and kept on going.
I have made a few, and have good reports from testing them here on sambar deer. But thats as far as its gone. I am taking some to a stand I have at an outdoor show in a couple of weeks, so will see if I have any better luck with Aussie hunters.
