Anyone switch from Verizon to T-Mobile and regret it? T Mobile offering almost 200 off a montly bill. Wondering more about service.

I have Verizon my pops has T. We hunt all over the west and they are more similar than different. I would absolutely change for that savings.

My wife tried to switch to T Mobile but it doesn't get service at our house. And it's funny, every time some service guy comes and we didn't get his call to say when he'd be here, I ask him: T-Mobile? Answer is always a dejected yes.

My son's family all switched to T-Mobile because of a great deal - he says it works just fine - doesn't have any more/less coverage issues than he had with Verizon.

I haven’t had issues with T-mobile traveling all over the country and also back into the mountains, there are areas I don’t get service of course back in the mountains but for 99% of my use areas it works great, worth the savings.

Do you have internet at your house? If that’s the only spot you don’t get service, connect it to WiFi, allow wifi calling and that issues solved.

Im considering the same switch, but because of starlink with tmobile for my backcountry stuff. . You can download the Tmobile app on your verizon phone right now, and get 3 free months of their service via an Esim card, so basically i currently have both Verizon and Tmobile active on my single phone right now. So i can watch the service between them both over the next 3 months. ..So far, the areas im noticing they say they have 5g etc, they definitely do not around me here in western wyo. Hoping it makes sense cause id like to have the satellite ability down the road.

If you stay with Verizon, the press release said they would sell the satellite service to AT&T and Verizon customers for $20 a month after the beta period ends in July. Just need to have a phone that is compatible.

Yeah, I wonder if they’ll allow month to month on it.

Also, if you have an iPhone 14 or newer I think, you get 2 free years of satellite from them, I don’t remember the specifics on this though.

i switched form verizon to spectrum(?!?!). i had low expectations but wife got a free year of service and i was tired of being bled dry by verizon. i can't say the service was great but only because iphone8 in the year 2023 was not great. now i'm on iphone16 and it works as expected 95% of the time. i wouldn't hesitate to switch from verizon to anything less expensive, buddy went verizon to t-mobile a year or two ago, has not regretted it.
