Current: ElkNut The Chuckler. I have not used any others.

I looked at Phelps and Slayer brands but never used either nor heard in person.

Threads are better with pics lol. This tube has called lots of bulls 👍🏻 I would like to try one of those metal Phelps tubes though, whatever I can get the most sound out of I will use, so far it’s the wiffle bat!

I have used several, and like the Elknut chuckler as well, it’s not huge, it’s light, and loud. My least favorite is the regular giant Phelps tube, it sounds good, but it’s not very loud and it’s way too big and heavy… it’s good, but unnecessary for what I need and for me, volume is important and they aren’t loud

The only time I would pack a Phelps is hunting a bull I already called in and bumped. Used to carry one a lot, but not anymore (called in plenty of bulls with it, but gave it to my brother a few months ago)

I would honestly like to get a Riven just because I think they are awesome, but probably never will, because I really shouldn’t have nice things

I am going to buy a couple tubes soon to try, but I will likely pack the beat up chuckler in the woods, I like to try a couple each year just because

Whatever the original big Phelps one is. Can’t see any reason to change. The price of the carbon ones and the wood riven ones are insane to me. What a weird coincidence too that we had no carbon ones before this year and now there are multiple brands selling them

I was using the Hunters Specialties Mac Daddy since 2009, but ran out of replacement reeds and can't find them now. Called in many elk over the years with that.

So this year I bought the Phelps Unleashed V2. We'll see what happens here in about 33 days! 🤞 haha

Would love to get that Riven wood tube, but I would more than cry if I lost it😂 have been using this bugling bull tube for close to 15 years after I lost my lucky tube. This is now the lucky tube and provides a nice clarity and deep sound. Back in the day we used to make them adding the Big Abe bell on the end to create the added resonance. Likely just keeping this one until I lose it😂 1st photo the original lucky tube. I find the one I like, similar to my tikka and keep using it. Good luck this season🤙
