Crows pecking through rubber roof on RV

I’ve had a little camp trailer at a ranch that I lease for 14 years. Just recently crows have started pecking through the rubber roofs and caulking on mine and all the other trailers. I can fix the holes with sealant, but how can I keep these bastards from pecking through again. Shooting firearms in the campground is not permitted because there’s houses nearby.

Can anybody think of a tarp or canvas material that might be durable enough for them to not peck through? Or something else?

Those fuggers like to pick holes in every wrapped round hay bale my farmer friend has. Same guy puts out road killed deer carcasses for coyote bait. Eagles, ravens and crows will quickly consume a carcass. He hangs a dead crow in a nearby bush/tree. They will caw and land in nearby trees but will not get too close to the dead one nor the carcass. I see that you can get fake crow decoys on Amazon that might be an option if you aren't there often. Not sure if pinwheels, hanging CDs blowing in the wind or those big inflatable "eyes" would work on crows or ravens - they are smart.

I had a company do a roof at a Country Club I worked at , a DACO like product , had the same problem .
They said it was bugs under the coating , and the Crows could hear the bugs crawling around . I had a termite problem there also , we had the whole building tented and fumigated , they stopped pecking the roof , as far as I could tell anyway .

I don’t think that’s the problem as they have hit most of the 12-15 campers in the campground.

Still , it's a low cost thing to fumigate a camper ? Could be ants , who knows what's going on ? Did it just start ? Why did it just start ?

We don’t know. Never had issues before. I’ll bug bomb the place when I leave next weekend. Not saying it’s a lost cause, it’s just that it’s kinda in a semi permanent parking spot 220 miles from home and not easy to get to a fumigation business or have one come out to it.
