Anyone pack crocs in with them for a camp shoe on backcountry hunts?

I was listening to a footwear podcast from the Exo guys and Steve said he packs them in to wear at the end of day, possible stream crossings, etc…

Was wondering if any other roksliders do this.

I have thought about it many times over the years. Have never brought them with. Not so much for the weight but for the amount of room they take up in the pack. They are kind of chunky.

Regular Crocs or the All Terrian ones that have better traction and an adjustable back strap?

Been doing it way before it was the cool thing to do on podcasts. Great camp shoes and good for water crossings.

I haven't because they're heavy. I recently had a little bout with Temu and ended up buying knock offs for $7. They're half the weight and just as comfortable so I may actually end up bringing them along in case we decide to spike camp.

Yep! They're a must. I put chute cord loops on the top holes so I can use a caribeaner to clip them to my pack.

I bring them about 85% of the time. Love lounging around in them. I use them to cold soak my feet or legs in a creek after a long day of hiking.I can Walk all around camp while letting the dogs out to breathe. Every time I don’t bring them, I regret it.

I just clip to outside of pack.
