When the wind picks up, I reach for an Outdoor Research balaclava. It's windproof.

Not sure what temps you see in that area but when it gets into the teens and single digits or colder and the wind howls...

Temperature high average: 77-54
Temperature low average: 52-31

Based on the two winters I spent in Lawton, I'd be focused on keeping the wind out. The only thing I see on your list that does that is the Solitude bibs, and I'm not very familiar with them. Code of Silence might be a good place for you to look.

Any familiarity with the Zone7 Versa Pant?

I’m a little ways west of there. It certainly gets colder than 31* in November and December. Low 20s are regular with cold fronts and teens are not out of the question. This past season certainly wasn’t “normal” — extremely warm. As others have said, wind is your biggest enemy. Are you blind hunting, spot and stalk, sitting in a tree stand, or other? That matters, for sure.

Of course, no this past season was certainly “not normal”. I’d be blind/tree stand hunting.

Well, first you have to decide your nature to cold. 31 isn't bad for some, it's tough for others, neuropathy, etc.

Personally, that's pretty good for 31 degrees. Are you going to moving or sitting? Now, here's what others may/may not understand, you will be dealing with humidity. 31 degrees will be definitely different, it will be cold and damp.

You need moisture management next to the skin ----- merino wool -- I like a woolnet, then athin a thin base layer --- with my furloh Allclima's (I can just go woolnet and those pants) ---- I'm in Alabama, I know about humidity ---- get that water off --- especially the walk in ----- At 31, you may not need bibs, you could go with slightly heavier base layer bottoms and do the same thing. If you're moving a lot, the attack pants should be fine. I have those pants too, they are great with stalk hunting and the woolnets.

Tops --- I think you are doing great, get that water off the skin -- again, woolnets and merino --- You don't like woolnet --- the two lightweight tops (merino) gets the water off -- the tops are fine for getting it even farther away --- now you need an outer layer for the wind and water management for fog/mist/etc.

Don't forget your feet ----

Don't forget scent --- high humidity, scent stays trapped in the area, it will definitely alert them easier.

Good luck
