Crispi Briksdal SF

Briksdal SF update. After wearing these boots for a couple weeks now, I've got some updates.

1. As mentioned by other users, there's not really a "break-in". The first couple of days they were a little stiff in the ankles but no pressure points or hot spots.

2. I didn't even attempt to keep the factory insoles in. Crispi uses a fairly thick almost felt type insole that im not a fan of.

3. The "5 Flex" isn't nearly as ungiving as I was anticipating. I cant tell a difference in flex between the Thor (4 Flex) and these

4. Messing with your lacing configurations can make these boots fit and feel totally different.

5. The tread on the vibram outsole is ideal, grips well even when wet, doesn't pick up small rocks, feels very stable

6. Not a very warm boot (I didn't expect them to be). Had them on several days when it was down in the low teens, and my feet got cold

I bought some of the SF boots last week for a goat hunt I have coming up. I’m working on breaking them in by wearing them around town. So far I love them. I want to take them on some mild terrain longer hikes this summer to really break them but im not sure if they will wreck my feet on more flat ground? One hike I want to do is about 26 miles but mostly rolling hills. I don’t want to get halfway and have my feet be done. Anyone have any mild terrain long distance hikes on there boots?
