Thinking of ordering some Crispi Idaho boots for saddle hunting on the East Coast of Maryland. Thoughts? Paired with a good pair of gaiters would they work for crossing ditches and what not?

I bought a new pair of Crispi Nevada GTXs last weekend.

I don’t buy boots that I’ve never had my feet in and I have been trying on various makes and models for a month or so. I had itnarrowed down to Crispi and Kenetrek, and when I was ready to buy, nobody had any Sasquatch sized kenetreks in stock, so Crispi it is.

these boots are very well built and comfortable and I’ve wore them hiking in the NorCal mountains all last week. No issues at all. I am very pleased.

they will be accompanying me to the High Uintas next week, so they will get another workout then.

I have a pair of Nevada's and Valdres'. I really like them both, but prefer the Valdres'. Both pairs have kept my feet dry in snow and creek crossings.
