Can any users of the 2.5-15x42 MRAD Center Dot Credo speak to its low light performance?

Perhaps against 44-50mm objectives, and if the difference is truly as substantial as marketing tells us?

I have found just a few snippets in threads, but am looking for a little more in depth experience.

My usage will be atop a 6.5cm for Montana muleys (primarily) and im confident there will be a decent bit of usage near last light. The 22oz weight and more compact frame make it very attractive. Of course it is SFP, but I do not believe it is nearly the handicap the market wants you to think it is.

Thanks

I used one pretty heavily for a while, documented my findings in this thread:

Post 51 in particular is one that sticks out where the low light ability of the little 42mm was crazy. I probably couldn't have told you with my bare eyes that was a deer at 35-40 yards it was so dark but in the scope I was able to place a shot easily.

As I understand it, the larger objective doesn't bring in any more light, it just gives you the same light at a higher magnification. The 42mm starts getting worse past 6x, and the 50mm starts getting worse past 7x.

Also, the low light performance of that scope is more than sufficient for legal shooting light. I've used mine to shoot hogs beyond legal shooting light.
