Gives you time to let the barrel cool downSame need more 6.5 creedmoor mags. Going to shoot mine tomorrow with 5 or so different bullets with only one mag!
Barrel will stay plenty cool if you misplaced your only magazine. One of the things I always preferred about a blind mag or hinged floorplate.Gives you time to let the barrel cool down
I have no idea. I went ahead and had my gunsmith drill and tap to 8-40 for a more robust mount. 30 in/lbs no problem with the 8-40. Be scared to go over 25 with the 6-48Anybody know what the torque specs are for mounting to the receiver on a 100? There's nothing in the manual and can't find it on the internet. Even the scope rings sauer offers doesn't have any information. I'm assuming they want you to buy their product and that information is only on the packaging.
Yeah im taking it in to get the barrel cut and threaded, maybe I'll look into that. Crazy that they specifically say not to over tighten in the manual but don't give you what specs to use. But in the same paragraph tell you they recommend using their scope rings. Kinda like they want to strong arm you into buying their product.I have no idea.
