Damn good job!
Now that I filled my buck tag my focus is turning to yotes, chukar, and waterfowl.
Curious what your tactics would be for this high desert country out back of my property. I know there are quite a bit of yotes out here but haven't hunted them yet since I've only been here since August.
I've got a foxpro, but dont have any thermal set up yet. This is the kind of country I'm in.View attachment 794471View attachment 794470
That's nice terrain!

I'd be scouting it for travel routes by sitting in a spot with views of the most "hips" looking rollers there. I'd also figure out where they are getting water, whether it's from streams, canals, or pockets that hold it in the hills there.

Are there lots of rabbits and/or squirrels at the bases and up the rises of the rollers? Coyotes LOVE sitting near the top of the gradual slopes that frequent ground squirrels and rabbits. They hunt from above and you can catch them sitting out near the tops.

They also like to bounce rollers blocking them from wind and will use the most gradual slopes are travel routes.

Correct. Numbers are relative though for sure.

When I lived on 200 acres in Northern California and managed multiple 3,000-10,000 acre ranches for coyote and squirrel depredation, 365 would be a decent months worth of coyote kills.
You need to come back to WY and kill some wolves.

Following, this is an impressive feat. Interested in hearing more of the tactics and stories. In Northern MN with the timber and lack of open area it would tough to get that many even when we trapped and snared a bunch.
