@Joseph28, for coyotes are you limited to non-lead projectiles? I know everything I looked at hunting when I was stuck in the Central Valley was restricted to non-lead rounds. Lots of flat shooting areas out there. Sorry you can't really take advantage of an AR platform for this project

Yes I am required to shoot non lead however one of the farms I am able to hunt I won’t get messed with at all so I can keep a pocket of non lead and a pocket of lead. With the ar platform I can get them they just have to have certain non fun parts on them

Right now it is basically if we see them we shoot them but I would like to start calling them in as well

Of the ones you listed I would specifically stay away from 22Nosler and 224 Valkyrie. Those are not long for this world and offer little or no advantage to standard chamberings.

It's hard to beat a faster twist 223.
