Coues Whitetail Hunting Forum

Curious if anybody else would like a coues whitetail hunting forum. They are completely different deer from regular whitetail and I think it would be cool to see their own thread.

Maybe western whitetails? There are whitetail deer in western states besides coues in NM, AZ and Sonora

Coues whitetail hunters already have a pretty active dedicated forum over at coueswhitetail.com, but I do think having a dedicated Coues thread here on Rokslide could be really valuable and cut down on some of the back-and-forth.

I thought about that but they aren’t the same species of deer, idk. Southwest whitetails?

I haven’t been on there in ages but it used to be a bit of a dumpster fire for some things.

I think it would be nice to have one, and or a sub form. Coue deer have a lot of similarities to eastern whitetail but differ a lot in the terrain and how they are generally hunted. I think it would be cool to have a spot to have inquiring minds with similar interests to interact on this form.

Having hunted them 1x, I can say they are addicting and fun to hunt despite their small size. Sign me up. I can't wait to chase them again.
