Copper Mono Success on Big Game

My BSF barreled 6.5 PRC Springfield waypoint loves the 127gr LRX.

Straight line penetration is the name of the game. The only two bullets I recovered this year was one though two elk shoulders lodged in opposite side hide, and one that passed through my whitetail buck length wise, through two quarters.

I think there are many benefits to monometals. No lead contamination in the meat. Bone breaking capability with smaller calibers. DRT brachial plexus shots...

This is the only animal that I have necropsied but in my subsequent post I will describe all the others shot with this combo. Christensen Mesa 6.5 PRC 20” barrel with a SilencerCo Omega 36m. Shot was 330 yards, bullet entered directly through shoulder blade and exited behind shoulder on opposite side. Buck incapacited within 10 seconds. Shot Clip
