Hey not sure if this is already been on one of the other threads but came across these on discount in a store and gave them a try.

Best instant I have tried by far. not cheap but good to me. Makes a great cold coffee too

Thanks for the advice. I generally have not liked instant coffee. I started just packing a grinder for car camping and short trips. On 2-3 day backpacking trips, i have moved to the brew bags from Juniper Mountain Coffee.

Always on the lookout for light/packable coffee that doesnt taste like a$$. Saw this^^ post and ordered the juniper mtn brew bags dark roast. Its probably the best instant-type packable coffee Ive ever tried. Even my hyper-picky coffee-snob wife (who travels with an aero-press and electric water pot to business meetings so she can have her own coffee) said she’d drink it. Thats pretty freakin high praise for instant coffee of any kind.
For those who prefer, combine with a small qty of Anthony’s heavy cream powder, and you can have a very passable cup of coffee WITH CREAM in the backcountry.

Yeah, I’ll tell you where they have also saved me is at the office. I keep a box in my desk and if I need extra caffeine throughout the day, I throw one in a cup. I also keep an MSR in my truck with a small pot and a few of these. If I get stuck out on a range longer than anticipated, they come in handy.

I either burn them in a fire or pack them out. No idea if they are biodegradable. Funny note, Juniper Mountain Coffee is based out of Jupiter Florida.
