North American Muzzlelaoder Hunting shot one of our rifles 50 times at the same target at 100 yards without wiping the bore of the barrel. Here is the link to their test:

Always wary when someone says their rifle will shoot moa. This test proves it. Wonder how an average shooter would do as this test was obviousely done by a master. Thanks for sharing

Me & a coworker (neither of us is anywhere near awesome at shooting) have no trouble getting 1 MOA & under with them.

There is just no doubt in the world about the quality of the Copper! I said that from the first day that I saw that rifle - it is impressive!

Can not say many of us put a lot of stock in a lot of Toby's reviews - but that is one awesome job of shooting! And one beautiful rifle!

^^^ have to agree on taking what Toby says with a grain of salt but no doubt he can shoot, I usually bypass his view points but still read his website for ideas, that said I'm Very impressed and agree the cooper is awesome. Now just add a synthetic manners stock to the options list

I am hoping to add a synthetic stock option next year
I also haven't given up on doing a PNW legal version. We are trying to decide whether to modify this action or just do a different one.

That mz is sweet. I got a chance to look at it during SHOT.

Toby is a different breed who is not afraid to express his opinion and has good intentions. . He has done a lot for the muzzleloading community and should be recognized for that. He helped me quite a bit in legalizing blackhorn 209 in Nevada and I'm very grateful for that.

I'm not saying Toby is a bad shot , I think he's an average Joe like most of us.

Personally I would like your rifle to be versatile - make it so that you might just switch out some parts and go from a Western Legal to a 209 scoped rifle. I use my ML as a regular modern ML during rifle season and them convert it to Western legal during ML season.

I like the idea of it being versatile as I too use it in place of a center fire rifle in the general seasons. However, I think we may be in the minority in this, Mike. If we do decide to just modify the existing action, that's how we'll do it. In the event that we make a separate action, it will likely be Western only. The main advantage to doing a different action will be weight savings as it can be made from scratch to be a minimum weight.

Glenn, I understand but then I would need to purchase two rifles - which really would be expensive. What is the weight of the model 22? I guess I could look that up. But also the weight could be reduced a good deal by going with a Kevlar type stock and again furthering the versatility of the rifle by offering a true all weather all temp long lasting stock.
