I have been researching trying to find the most suitable pants for my purposes. Most of my hunting is relatively stationary, but damp with wild chill. I had the Stratus and loved them, but wasn’t pleased with their DWR in wet conditions. The Timberlines seem to be good pants, but are heavy and won’t stand up to the wind. Kuiu Guides maybe? Thoughts?

KUIU Axis pants if you're going to be at all mobile. They're like the KUIU guide pants mated with the Sitka Timberline and are my go to late season pant given their fleece backer and waterproof seat/knees. I've sat for a couple hours with just a light merino base layer under them in sub freezing temps. Otherwise a whitetail specific option would be better for true stationary hunting.

The Kuiu Guides are just soft shells with a DWR, not my first choice for cold and wet.
I wear them for late season hunting in MT, which is generally cold but dry.
Im not familiar with the others you listed.

Second the Axis over the guides. Timberlines are a solid choice too, even without a hip vent. Have you looked at Kryptek Vellus at all? I had the guides and have Vellus and just got a pair of Axis as a replacement for them (other option would have been the timberlines). I like hip vents. The Vellus is a great pant but I move a bit too much for them. They are super warm, water/wind proof. And I have a pair I am trying to move, pm me if you are interested. For stationary, stand, ice fishing they are the bees knees. I just wouldn't hike miles up a mountain with em. Otherwise cabelas woolimite line, or as stated anything whitetail specific is good option too.
