Convince me to hunt Wolves

question is not if you should hunt wolves, but how do you hunt wolves?
There is a reason most wolf hunters do not kill wolves.
spot and stalk?
Bait?
Call?
thermal night vision?

different parts of idaho allow all that and hunters are still not killing very many of them.
Baiting, calling and thermal are all illegal in my area. So spot and stalk is my only option.

If you are that short on ambition and need encouragement to go hunting, then it’s likely you are better off not going.
Ambition is not entirely what's lacking.
I started this thread hoping to hear peoples experiences, see photos of wolf kills and wolf harvests/ pelts, fuel the fire and tip me over the edge. But, there seems to be a lack of stoke brokers. Instead, it's pulling lots of shit talkers, not sure why I expected more but I guess I'm an optimist.

I’ve killed around 80 or so in my lifetime. I did post a bunch of pics some years ago. Once you get your first one you’ll be hooked. It’s a great way to spend the winter.

I think some of the lack of wolf kills is they are dang hard to kill… some of us live in places where we can’t hunt them… someday I’ll head north and give it a crack but time in the field is super limited for me these days
