The 77gr TMK delivered by a .223 is where I ended up after many discussions and objective data regarding bullet performance and numerous pics of field results.

Now for the delivery system. Accurate. Repeatable. Reliable. Reasonable weight to afford steady shot placement and the ability to spot my own impacts...

That’s interesting about an Amazon knock off. I have two already and both were genuine parts. Easy to confirm when you check the serial number on the bdc order form online.

I had my 6.5C cut and threaded to 18" and my .300WM to 20". Don't regret it at all. If I buy a new rifle it will be a 5.8lb Tikka T3X UL 6.5C that comes standard w a 20" threaded barrel. My 18" Tikka 6.5C has killed 5 elk and 6 or 7 mule deer at 300-400 yds with factory 143 ELDX ammo.
