Cant believe its been only 6 months since I joined this amazing forum. In that time I have either purchased or built 4 rifles, in 4 calibers. Gone on about 30 hunts for Elk, Deer and Coyotes. Been extremely frustrated by the tag process and cost in every state. Torn up my feet from good boots on wimpy feet. Beat up my body which has become much stronger and leaner than before. Since I see so many posts about getting that "One" piece of equipment, I thought I would share what I think every time I see one.
There is no "one" Caliber.
There is no "one" Rifle to rule them all. (but there is only "one" Ring)
There is no "one" scope.
There is no "one" Pack.
There is no "one" Boot.
There is no "one" Coat.
There is no "one" Bipod. (maybe the Tricer RP)
There is no "one" truck.
There is no "one" knife.
There is no "one" anything.
Etc.....
Chances are that you will buy that "one" thing, realize there is another scenario and have to buy another that fits its use case.
It takes time and experience to get better as a Hunter, in every aspect. This forum and it's helpful members will speed up the process exponentially! Just get out there and do it!
Thanks for helping me get this far Rokslide!
