Compact rangefinding binos

I use GPO 10x40.

Ranges past 2000yards
How far can you consistently range an animal in bad conditions? (Snow or spitting rain, fog, etc). Specs I looked at quickly on the x32’s on the cameraland site above claimed only 660 yards on animal, so in poor conditions will be much less. Regardless of whether I shoot that far, Id want to range animals to well past 660 yards—usually can range a nearby tree or rock, but just wondering whats realistic for those. Do the x40’s have a longer max range than the x32’s?

I had no issue ranging pronghorns first week in Sept out to 1000 yards in cold heavy misting/drizzling rain. It was miserable weather with gusting winds

I haven’t used the 32mm.
